Vibraphonist Yuhan Su marks Cal Tjader's 101st birthday with her sextet, perched above Columbus Circle at Dizzy's. A Downbeat Rising Star nominee and Golden Melody Award winner, she writes with equal measures of rigor and feeling, and has shared stages with Vijay Iyer and Greg Osby. Two sets, at 7 and 9, make it easy to build a night around.

Nashville's Sophie Gault brings UNHINGED, her fastest and hardest-hitting record yet, to Williamsburg's Skinny Dennis. She spent a decade in kitchens before an unexpected record deal pulled her back to music, and her songs — country, blues, and a little punkabilly — don't ask permission. Zoe Pete Ford opens, with a jukebox-cowgirl DJ set running late.

American Ballet Theatre brings Kevin McKenzie's Swan Lake back to the Met, set to Tchaikovsky and after Petipa and Ivanov. Odette's curse, von Rothbart's scheming, and one of the repertory's most demanding dual roles keep it the company's quintessential classic. The production runs most of the week if Friday doesn't fit.
